Instructions to Authors

          The Seventh Asia-Oceania Congress on Medical Physics (7th AOCMP) and The Thirteenth National Annual Meeting of Medical Physics will take place in Huangshan from August 23 to 27, 2007. For the very first time participants from the Asia-Oceania countries will have the opportunity of coming together to meet with the medical physicists, radiation oncologists and radiologists from China in a worldwide-known beautiful place of Huangshan.

          The theme of the congress is “Integration of Modern Medical Imaging with Radiation Oncology”. The main topics of the scientific program include: Integration of Modern Image with Radiation Oncology; Therapy Physics;Imaging physics; Quality Assurance; Radiation Dosimetry; Non-ionizing radiation; Radiation Protection;Education, and Training and Professional Development. Training and refresher courses will also be organized. Interested participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentation in the scientific sessions. Abstracts may be submitted via E-mail or by mail to the Congress Secretariat at the address given below. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2007. The guidelines for submission of abstract in English are:

  1. In Times New Roman font of size 12, single line spacing with no more than 800 words. Soft copy shall be in MS Word file. Electronic submission is recommended. Submission in hardcopy should be sent together with a 3.5-inch floppy disk or CD.

  2. The abstract should be organized into the following paragraphs: Title; authors (with institution and E-mail address); objective; materials and methods; results; conclusion.

  3. The presenting author should be underlined.

  4. The Scientific Committee shall have the final decision on the acceptance of abstracts and session placement. Authors will be notified of the results before the end of July 2007.

          Authors with accepted presentation are encouraged to submit their MS PowerPoint presentation in a CD-R or 3.5-inch floppy disk to the Secretariat in advance by mail or by e-mail directly. On site submission should be made at least one day before presentation.
